Job summary

Knight Aerospace is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer II to join our San Antonio team. The role develops and implements electrical designs for multidisciplinary aerospace programs, including aircraft electrical system integration and schematics.

Candidates should have a BS in Electrical Engineering, 8 years aerospace experience, proficiency with AutoCAD/DraftSight and SolidWorks, and the ability to travel; on-site work in San Antonio is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required.
• 8 years of aerospace engineering experience.
• Experience with aircraft electrical systems and integration.
• Proficient in creating/reading schematics, wiring diagrams, block diagrams.
• Working knowledge of FAA, Military, and applicable standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical system specifications and interfaces.
• Integrate products with aircraft electrical systems.
• Prepare drawings and technical documentation.
• Lead projects and coordinate with planning, production, and quality.
• Support design of projects and apply sustainability processes.
