Job summary

Knight Aerospace Products, Inc. seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer II for our San Antonio, TX team. The role focuses on developing and implementing electrical designs for multidisciplinary aerospace programs, including aircraft electrical system integration and documentation.

The candidate should have 8 years in aerospace, a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, and proficiency with AutoCAD/DraftSight, SolidWorks, and related tools. This is a full-time, on-site position with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
• 8 years of engineering experience in the aerospace industry.
• Experience with aircraft electrical systems and integration.
• Strong experience creating and reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and block diagrams.
• Experience with AutoCAD/DraftSight, SolidWorks, electrical routing, and circuit analysis tools.
• Working knowledge of FAA, Military, and applicable electrical standards.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
• Must be able to work on-site in San Antonio, TX.

Responsibilities

• Develops electrical system specifications, designs, and electrical-mechanical interfaces.
• Identify, formulate, and produce effective solutions to emerging problems with minimal guidance.
• Integrate products with aircraft electrical systems.
• Develop connector and circuit breaker panels.
• Prepare product drawing and technical documentation.
• Establish budget, quality, and schedule deliverables for individual.
• Support design of projects and apply current sustainability processes.
• Promotes learning from successes and problems within the group and across the corporation.
• Develops energy audits and protocols.
