Job summary

Applied Aerospace and Defense in Santa Ana, CA seeks a Program Manager to own the full product lifecycle from contract award to final delivery. You will lead cross-functional teams and coordinate proposals and business plans to expand the product line.

The role requires 5+ years in aerospace and defense program management, P&L ownership, and proficiency with Microsoft Project; U.S. Person status under ITAR/EAR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace/defense or related field with 5+ years of aerospace and defense program management experience.
• 3+ years' experience managing aerospace and defense programs in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with program P&L ownership.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Ensure programs are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Manage Integrated Program Team (IPT) including engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain.
• Tracking, reporting, and managing overall program performance.
• Coordinate with operations, master scheduler, and production planners for high-volume production programs.
• Brief internal and external stakeholders on program performance, critical actions, and risks.
• Drive critical path items to completion by advocating for the customer across internal departments.
• Lead planning and execution of new product introductions.
