Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a hands-on Program Manager to oversee aerospace and defense programs from award through delivery. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and ensure milestones are met while maintaining strong customer interfaces and adherence to Quality Management Systems.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in program management within aerospace/defense, government contracting experience, PMP is a plus, and a deep understanding of manufacturing, FAT, and logistics.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of program/project management experience in aerospace/defense, manufacturing, logistics, or engineering industries.
• Experience supporting government contracts as a contractor (not a direct federal employee).
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing, fabrication, production processes, and/or transportation logistics.
• Experience with new product development and factory acceptance testing (FAT).
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and customer-facing skills.
• Self-motivated team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end program lifecycle from award to delivery.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, and services.
• Manage budgets, schedules, risks, and procurement.
• Serve as primary customer interface and align with client requirements.
• Ensure quality, compliance, and FAT readiness.
• Support business development and contract opportunities.
