Job summary

Divergent is hiring an Advanced Manufacturing Production Specialist to coordinate materials, tooling, and workflows on the production floor in a high-precision aerospace environment. The role links machining, engineering, quality, and supply chain to resolve constraints and keep output on schedule.

You will monitor production status, manage work orders in ERP/MRP, track inventory, and support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; aerospace/precision machining experience preferred.
• 1+ year of administrative or production support experience in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with CNC machining, blueprint reading, tooling, and production workflows.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel for scheduling, tracking, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production activities to align with schedules and on-time delivery targets.
• Ensure tooling, materials, and work instructions are ready before job release to minimize downtime.
• Manage and track work orders through ERP/MRP systems and update production status.
• Monitor tooling inventory and usage; support tool crib operations and replenishment.
• Identify and help address production bottlenecks and assist with production planning.
