Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics in Fort Walton Beach, FL, is hiring a Production Technician to perform calibration and functional tests on subassemblies and end items of moderate complexity in a high-volume production environment.

The role requires 1–3 years in a regulated setting, proficiency with test equipment, and the ability to interpret engineering and test procedures. OSHA safety and compliance with ITAR are integral to daily duties, with potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years in a highly regulated manufacturing environment or equivalent.
• Ability to learn new test software and equipment and identify non-conforming conditions in equipment and product.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing operations within the assigned functional area.
• Create non-conformance reports with testing details and root-cause investigation results.
• Interpret and work with work orders, engineering drawings and test procedures.
• Prepare calculations for voltage, resistance, current, impedance, amplification, flow rate and mass, and adjustments.
• Perform automated and manual testing using various test equipment.
• Practice safe work habits as established by OSHA and Crane policy.
• Support CBS initiatives including 5S, KPI’s and standard work.
