Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics is seeking a Production Technician II for 2nd shift (2:00pm - 10:30pm) to test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify production units. The role supports high-volume, low-mix test operations and requires calibration, testing, and documentation per engineering specs.

Second shift includes a 10% differential. The position emphasizes QA inspections, non-conformance reporting, and working with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of related field experience or equivalent education.
• Extensive knowledge of troubleshooting, circuitry or mechanical characteristics.
• Ability to learn new test software and equipment.
• English communication skills required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues in production test operations.
• Certify as a Crane Designated Quality Assurance Inspector for product inspections.
• Create non-conformance reports with root cause investigation results.
• Calibrate or adjust units by potentiometer, clocking, shimming, or similar methods.
• Perform automated and manual testing with various test equipment and procedures.
• Support safety policies and Lean initiatives; overtime as needed.
