Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is hiring technicians to support full-scale production of LEO satellites in Washington. You will assemble and test avionic LRUs, electrical-mechanical assemblies, fiber-optics, and PCBAs while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

Basic qualifications include 1+ years in a high-traceability manufacturing environment, use of hand tools and precision instruments, and ability to read engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a high traceability manufacturing environment.
• 1+ years using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
• 1+ years working with test tools and methods validating systems.
• Experience reading engineering documentation and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locations.
• Assemble and test avionic LRUs, electrical-mechanical assemblies, fiber-optics, and PCBAs.
• Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated.
• Support preventative maintenance on test equipment and data acquisition systems.
• Identify equipment needs, propose process improvements, and manage floor stock.
• Independently execute and prioritize work to meet deliverables.
• Execute test procedures for component and system level testing.
• Receive shipments and coordinate deliveries using pallet jacks and carts.
• Contribute to improving SOPs and safety procedures.
