Job summary

Lifesaving Systems, a leading producer of helicopter and marine rescue equipment, is seeking a Production Supervisor for its Apollo Beach, FL facility. The role oversees manufacturing and assembly, directing production staff, and ensuring timely, accurate work order completion on the onsite shift (Mon–Thu, 6:30am–5:00pm).

The supervisor will manage workflow, monitor ERP data, coordinate with Purchasing, Planning, Engineering, and Quality, and uphold safety and quality standards while driving

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, or related environment.
• Strong proven experience leading production employees.
• Experience in ERP/MRP-driven manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read manufacturing drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Good organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review and prioritize open production work orders based on deadlines, materials, capacity, and priorities.
• Assign employees and resources to meet daily/weekly production targets.
• Monitor work orders and take action if behind schedule.
• Identify shortages, constraints, or issues and escalate appropriately.
• Provide direct supervision and guidance to production staff.
• Ensure safety, quality, productivity, attendance, and housekeeping standards are met.
• Cross-train staff to reduce bottlenecks and improve flexibility.
