Job summary

X-Bow Systems in the United States is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead the Case/Cartridge Preparation and Assembly work center for solid rocket motor manufacturing. You will guide technicians, ensure safety, quality, and compliance with engineering requirements, and drive efficient daily production on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in manufacturing, aerospace, or defense
• 5+ years supervising personnel
• 3+ years in operations leadership
• Experience with controlled work instructions and technical requirements
• Strong understanding of production-floor operations and material control
• Ability to prioritize and allocate personnel as needed
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• ITAR compliance awareness and eligibility

Responsibilities

• Manage daily Case/Cartridge Preparation and Assembly operations safely and compliantly.
• Own daily and weekly production execution, including personnel assignments and throughput.
• Maintain work center readiness with trained personnel, materials, tooling, equipment, and documentation.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development to production technicians.
• Maintain strong production-floor presence emphasizing safety and quality.
• Monitor production flow, plan vs. actual, cycle time, and constraints; drive recovery actions.
• Identify and elevate safety, quality, and schedule risks before impact.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and ensure readiness.
• Support readiness reviews, rate ramp, capacity planning, and work center development.
• Lead daily production/Tier reviews with clear communication and closure.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, production flow, and efficiency.
• Foster a culture of safety, integrity, accountability, and ownership on the floor
