We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations Technician to support our manufacturing operations. This role is critical to ensuring the safe and efficient production of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform simple calculations to ensure process variables are accurately controlled
• Follow detailed work instructions including standard operating procedures (SOPs), engineering specifications, and engineering drawings
• Handle and work with chemicals safely and effectively
• Complete product documentation, including shop travelers, to ensure compliance and traceability
• Assist engineers in design and development of production processes
• Handle, produce, and manufacture energetic materials under the general direction of an engineer or supervisor. Energetic materials may include rocket motor components or assemblies, propellant samples, or bulk materials.
• Availability to work off‑hour shifts or overtime as needed to meet production schedules
• Able to work from elevated platforms and move 50 lbs of material without help
• Able and willing to wear appropriate PPE such as company provided boots, coveralls, and respirators as needed

Qualifications

• Experience reading and following SOPs and completing documentation
• Familiarity with operating and monitoring production equipment
• Basic computer skills and ability to communicate using a variety of digital platforms
• Reliable and regular attendance
• Ability to obtain a government issued security clearance as needed by the company
• Ability to troubleshoot basic machine failures and provide feedback to maintenance groups
