Job summary

Hera Technologies, LLC is seeking a Shipping & Part Mark, Production Assistant to join a hands-on, collaborative team. The role covers travel, inventory, and production support from raw materials through shipping, acting as the communications conduit between shop floor and management on schedule, quality, and resource needs.

Responsibilities include logging and tracking travelers, inspecting parts for quality, packaging per customer specs, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of manufacturing production control experience in a job-shop environment, preferably aerospace.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measurement tools (calipers, tape, scales).
• Experience navigating ERP systems (JobBoss, Epicor) and standard MS Office apps.

Responsibilities

• Meet daily shipping goals and ensure travelers are complete before starting work.
• Inspect parts per work instructions for burrs, defects, and inconsistencies.
• Log travels in ERP systems and complete daily job reporting.
• Maintain inventory, labeling, and shelf-life control; support cross-functional operations.
• Promote 5S, safety, and continuous improvement within the department.
