Job summary

Senior plc is seeking a Scheduler to oversee the master production schedule, ensuring timely completion of planning, tooling, materials, and sub-assemblies across cost centers. You will lead recovery actions for delinquencies and coordinate with multiple departments to meet customer commitments and on-time deliveries.

Responsibilities include releasing floor orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and sustaining MRP data integrity while supporting demand forecasting and build plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with minimum two years related experience and/or combination of education and experience in production control, scheduling, expediting and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Releases all assemblies, sub-assemblies and shop orders to the floor.
• Reviews production plan and reschedules assembly orders when unable to release due to shortages.
• Works with contracts, quality and purchasing to meet customer commitments and resolve scheduling issues.
• Proposes and gets authorization for a recovery plan on delinquent orders when lead times are insufficient.
• Coordinates shipping plan and manufacturing plan with production supervisor.
• Coordinates production schedules and verifies inventory to meet master schedule requirements.
• Monitors stock levels to prevent shortages or excesses.
• Maintains MRP data integrity.
• Manages scheduling and timeliness of production processes.
• Collaborates with teams to meet production goals.
• Monitors and reports production progress against plan and updates plans accordingly.
• Assists with demand forecasting.
• Maintains monthly Build Plan.
• Follow all Senior policies and procedures.
