Job summary

GE Aerospace in Vandalia, OH is seeking a Lead Production Quality Specialist to ensure quality across the manufacturing process and support QA/QC activities on the shop floor.

You will analyze quality and production issues, identify root causes, and work with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain to implement effective solutions while applying established quality systems and continuous-improvement practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 6+ years in a relevant function.
• Experience in manufacturing and production quality.
• Ability to apply technical and analytical thinking to resolve manufacturing quality issues.
• Ability to work within established quality systems, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Own quality assurance and quality control activities across manufacturing processes, products, and services.
• Analyze quality and production issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions with guidance as needed.
• Partner with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and other internal stakeholders to resolve issues and support departmental objectives.
• Apply technical knowledge of manufacturing quality practices to execute quality policies, strategies, and procedures.
