Job summary

RTX is seeking a Production Quality Engineering Co‑Op in the United States. This full‑time, onsite role runs June through December and offers a hands‑on mentorship to tackle product failures, supplier quality, and new product introductions in a dynamic environment.

You will engage in Lean tools, participate in continuous improvement, and learn problem‑solving methods like 8D while supporting critical production projects.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related STEM major and enrolled through the internship/co‑op.
• Must have a minimum of 60 credits by start of the co‑op.

Responsibilities

• Support production improvement and new product introduction projects.
• Conduct product failure analysis and corrective actions.
• Assist in managing and ensuring supplier quality.
• Help implement and maintain quality management systems.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing tools.
