Job summary

Bascom Hunter is seeking a Production Planner to drive execution across manufacturing operations by aligning demand, materials, and capacity. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
• 3+ years in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Deltek Costpoint or similar).
• Strong understanding of production workflows, BOMs, and routing structures.
• Ability to balance competing priorities and adjust plans in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in Excel for planning and data analysis.
• Strong communication and coordination skills across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage production schedules based on demand, material availability, and capacity constraints.
• Align demand and supply by translating program requirements into actionable schedules.
• Release and track work orders; coordinate purchase order execution to support production schedules.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Engineering for alignment on priorities and delivery commitments.
• Monitor material availability; manage shortages and expedite orders as needed.
• Track schedule performance and implement recovery plans to keep programs on track.
• Support NPI by planning early builds and ramp-up activities.
