BARNES AEROSPACE OEM WEST CHESTER is seeking a Planning professional responsible for expediting production on the shop floor to meet delivery goals. The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.

Core duties include cross‑functional prioritization, processing ERP releases, handling shortages, and coordinating with engineering and master scheduling to ensure on‑time delivery and accurate inventory records.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in manufacturing environment preferably for an aerospace organization.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office. Ability to be trained in usage of Syteline ERP system
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize critical responsibilities
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Communicates cross-functionally to prioritize critical parts through required processes.
• Sort rejected parts and add engineering instructions for necessary rework.
• Review inventory discrepancies and initiate corrective action.
• Review and process planned ERP messages to release required jobs to the floor daily.
• Understand and communicate job shortages daily with a goal of 0 jobs past due to release.
• Produce serial numbers as required for jobs released.
• Provide delivery promises and prioritize tool repairs with engineering.
• Experience with ERP systems; Syteline experience preferred.
• Maintain respectful working relationships.
• Attend monthly forecast meetings and assist master scheduler with forecasting.
• Participate in yearly physical inventory.
• Close jobs daily and review material discrepancies.
• Print and staple jobs daily.
• Communicate with outside vendors for delivery commits.
• Support dispatch list improvement and development as required.
