Job summary

Adecco Portugal is partnering with a growing aerospace manufacturer to hire an experienced Production Manager. The role leads multi-department manufacturing operations in a highly regulated setting and focuses on safety, quality, on-time delivery, and cost control.

The ideal candidate will oversee supervisors and production staff, collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain, and drive continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives across the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience managing production teams in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in employee development, process improvement, and operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple production departments and specialized manufacturing processes.
• Drive safety, quality, delivery, and productivity metrics.
• Manage supervisors, skilled trades, and production personnel.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams.
• Champion continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
• Ensure production schedules, customer commitments, and financial objectives are met.
