Job summary

PPG is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Huntsville, AL facility on 2nd shift with potential 12-hour 24/7 coverage. You will supervise a designated production area, ensuring safety, process effectiveness, and alignment with schedules, quality standards, and cost targets.

You will coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply & Logistics, and Sales to develop production plans and allocate resources.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supervising in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience in a 24/7 production environment or aerospace manufacturing is preferred.
• Willing to work a 3rd shift and be available for 24/7 coverage as needed.

Responsibilities

• Leads and supports an assigned Production Area with focus on safety and risk reduction.
• Plans daily work, assigns resources, and monitors results.
• Hires, mentors, counsels, and coaches employees on performance and policies.
• Maintains production progress by observing workflow, equipment constraints, staffing, and methods; drives cost reductions.
