Job summary

AST SpaceMobile is seeking a Production Control Inventory Supervisor to lead inventory control and supervise a team across manufacturing and warehouse operations. The role ensures material availability, accurate cycle counts, and proper WIP management to sustain uninterrupted production in a high‑tech aerospace environment.

The supervisor collaborates with Planning, Procurement, Quality, Finance, and Operations to optimize material flow, track KPIs, and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in inventory control, production control, supply chain, warehouse, or manufacturing.
• Two+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Experience in aerospace, satellite, defense, electronics, or high‑volume manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily inventory control operations across production and warehouse activities.
• Ensure timely availability of materials to support manufacturing schedules and work orders.
• Oversee inventory transactions including issues, returns, transfers, adjustments, and reconciliations.
• Monitor WIP movement and track production flow for accuracy.
• Lead cycle count programs and annual physical inventories.
• Collaborate with Planning and Procurement to mitigate shortages and risks.
• Maintain inventory records, locations, lot/serial numbers, and master data.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with inventory control requirements.
• Develop and coach Inventory Control Specialists and Analysts.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean and best practices.
• Generate inventory reports and KPIs for management dashboards.
