Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineer to coordinate production problem resolution within a manufacturing facility. You will collaborate with quality, materials, and other departments to provide technical support and investigate defective parts, implementing corrective actions as needed.

The role requires a BS/BA in Engineering with 3-5 years in production, proficiency in CAD (AutoCAD/SolidWorks), and strong collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• 3-5 years’ experience in a production setting.
• Previous aircraft electrical/engineering knowledge preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and collaboration at all levels.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities to evaluate and resolve engineering-related production problems in the manufacturing facility.
• Confer with quality control, materials, manufacturing, and other department personnel to provide technical support.
• Investigate defective, damaged, or malfunctioning parts, assemblies, equipment, or systems and define solutions.
• Examine, measure, inspect, investigate, and test suspected defective parts for conformance to engineering specifications.
• Evaluate findings, formulate corrective action plans, and coordinate implementation.
• Serve as a member of the MRB to determine disposition of defective or damaged parts.
