Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. is seeking a Production Assembler I for the 2nd shift (4pm - 12:30am, Mon-Fri) at our Manchester, CT site.

You will assemble aerospace components to exact specifications, read blueprints, and use precision measuring tools to ensure quality. The role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work with hand and power tools while following safety and ITAR guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or machining environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Excellent manual dexterity with attention to detail.
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
• Must meet ITAR and visa eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assemble aerospace components per customer specifications.
• Build and prepare tube assemblies for weld and braze processes.
• Contour assemblies to fixture and layout dimensions.
• Use hand and power tools to meet specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering travelers.
• Troubleshoot quality issues and report defects.
• Maintain traceable records of produced assemblies.
• Adhere to safety protocols and handle hazardous materials.
