Job summary

Howmet Aerospace is seeking a Production Assembler I to assemble aerospace components per customer specifications. You will build tube assemblies, use hand and power tools, read blueprints, and perform precision measurements.

Responsibilities include contouring to fixtures, troubleshooting, and documenting production activities while adhering to safety and quality standards. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Proficient with hand and power tools and measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Assemble aerospace components to customer specifications using hand tools, power tools and fixtures.
• Build and prepare tube assemblies for weld and braze processes.
• Contour assemblies to fixture layouts to meet print dimensions.
• Read and interpret engineering instructions, travelers and blueprints.
• Troubleshoot quality issues and document results.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using calipers and micrometers.
• Maintain safety protocols and use PPE.
• Record production and assembly activities for traceability.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues.
