Job summary

Spirit AeroSystems, Inc., Spirit Defense unit, is seeking a procurement specialist to manage supplier contracts, build strong supplier relations, and lead post-award activities to support defense programs.

Candidates should have 2+ years in supply chain, the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field. The provided pay range is $54,550–$83,650 with competitive benefits and union protections.

Qualifications

2+ years of related experience in a supply chain role, preferably aerospace or manufacturing.
Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance and Special Program Access (US Citizenship required).
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain, or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

Acts as an authorized agent for contracts and supplier-related activities.
Researches and selects suppliers; builds and maintains strong supplier relations.
Negotiates contracts and manages post-award supplier activities.
Interfaces with internal/external customers and monitors supplier performance.
Incorporates planning decisions from customers and suppliers to optimize supply chain.
