Job summary

Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. is seeking a supply chain professional to manage materials procurement and supplier relations.

You will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely availability of metallic and non-metallic materials used in aerostructure manufacturing. Candidates should have 3+ years in supply chain within aerospace/manufacturing, strong SAP/MS Office skills, and proven project management capabilities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in a supply chain role, preferably within metallic/non-metallic raw materials or aerospace/manufacturing
• Proficient with SAP/MS Office/Teams/Excel/PowerPoint
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written across leadership levels
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
• Project management experience and skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and process orientation
• Ability to build and cultivate relationships and influence outcomes

Responsibilities

• Synchronize supply chain for materials procurement, interfacing with internal/external customers and suppliers
• Act as authorized agent for contracts, agreements, and purchase orders
• Develop RFQs/RFPs, analyze responses, negotiate and award contracts, manage post-award activity
• Interface with customers and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
• Place inventory levels, purchase orders, and monitor supplier performance
• Monitor demand and material assets to optimize total supply chain planning and reduce variability
