Job summary

Quantum Space in Tulsa, OK seeks a detail-oriented Buyer to support procurement for aerospace programs. You will coordinate purchasing activities, manage supplier relationships, and ensure timely acquisition of materials and services to back engineering, production, and business operations.

You will work across supply chain, procurement, engineering, and finance to optimize purchasing processes, monitor supplier performance, and drive on-time delivery while achieving cost and quality objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 4+ years of relevant experience in supply chain, procurement, or related function.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple purchase orders, suppliers, and priorities.
• Excellent problem-solving and proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
• Strong written and verbal communication to collaborate with suppliers and internal partners.
• Self-motivated, resourceful, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Review purchase requisitions and issue accurate, timely purchase orders for materials and services.
• Manage purchasing activities across multiple commodities and internal functions.
• Ensure PO pricing, quantities, delivery schedules, and terms are accurate.
• Review supplier quotations for completeness, accuracy, and competitiveness.
• Monitor delivery commitments and identify schedule risks to ensure on-time material availability.
• Maintain open PO reports and coordinate with suppliers for on-time deliveries.
• Expedite critical parts to support production schedules and milestones.
• Serve as a primary procurement contact for internal stakeholders and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with Finance to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
• Identify cost savings opportunities and improve purchasing efficiency.
• Lead supplier onboarding and ensure records are accurate and complete.
• Support negotiations to achieve favorable terms and reliable delivery.
