Job summary

RTX is seeking a production technician for Windsor Locks, CT to plate, paint, heat-treat, and inspect aerospace parts on an on-site 2nd shift. Training will cover plating, measurement, and nondestructive testing. Duties include operating equipment and maintaining logs while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• One to three years of relevant experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts for plating.
• Operate plating line equipment.
• Prepare and paint parts.
• Operate vapor, sand or dry blasting machines to prep parts for production.
• Operate ovens, furnaces and induction machines to heat treat parts.
• Use gages to measure and perform hardness checks.
• Perform nondestructive testing (magnetic particle, fluorescent penetrant, dye penetrant, eddy current).
• Maintain logs, logs and equipment; update log books; coordinate priorities.
