Job summary

A leading aerospace manufacturing firm is seeking a proactive Manufacturing Process Engineer in South Windsor, CT. The ideal candidate will develop and optimize processes for high-quality aerospace components, design tooling, and create technical documentation. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5 years of manufacturing experience in the aerospace sector are required. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and supporting production with Lean Manufacturing principles. U.S. citizenship is mandatory due to compliance requirements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in aerospace manufacturing engineering.
  • Proficiency in reading engineering drawings, GD&T, and 3D modeling.
  • Experience in planning manufacturing sequences and designing tooling.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for aerospace components.
  • Design tooling and fixtures for efficient production.
  • Create and maintain Manufacturing Work Instructions and technical documentation.
