Job summary

Chromalloy in Windsor, CT is seeking a Process Engineer – Molding & Spray Coatings to support repair and overhaul of critical gas turbine components. You will develop and optimize resin molding, protective coatings, cleaning, etching, and blending operations to improve quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related science (Materials/Chemistry/Physics) required.
• 3+ years in manufacturing engineering; aerospace, MRO, or gas turbine repair preferred.
• Experience with resin molding, mold design optimization, and process development.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specs, and engineering documents; strong collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize resin molding and HVLP spray coating processes to improve quality and yield.
• Provide day-to-day engineering support, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Lead tooling, fixtures, gauging, and equipment development for production cells.
• Maintain process documentation, work instructions, and calibration records.
• Support operator training and collaborate with maintenance on preventive maintenance.
• Monitor process performance and drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements.
