Chromalloy is seeking an Aerospace Composites Process Engineer to lead repair and layup development for gas turbine components in a manufacturing setting in Windsor, CT. You will optimize composite processes, ensure quality, and drive continuous improvement across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related science discipline.
• 3+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment; aerospace experience preferred.
• Experience supporting composite manufacturing, repair, or advanced materials processes.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Understanding of root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, qualify, and optimize composite layup and repair processes for aerospace components.
• Create and improve procedures to ensure structural integrity and repeatability.
• Provide day-to-day engineering support for production operations and yield improvements.
• Lead preventative maintenance and tooling design to improve safety and efficiency.
• Support training and documentation, process specifications, and quality records.
