Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years setting up and operating manual mills and lathes.
• Experience with CNC machines is preferred.
• Experience with drill presses, grinders, and related equipment is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Study samples and drawings to determine operations and tolerances.
• Fabricate parts with lathes and milling machines per specs.
• Support metalworking projects from planning through inspection and testing.
• Set up machines to precise tolerances and run multiple machines.
• Measure parts with micrometers and inspection tools to ensure conformance.
• Operate manual mills, lathes, saws, and related equipment.
• Maintain and clean machines, tools, and equipment.
• Look for continuous improvements to reduce turnaround times.
• Perform other duties to support efficient operations.
