Job summary

The Gill Corporation in Edgewood, MD seeks an experienced fabricator to manufacture aerospace structural components and honeycomb/core materials. You will operate precision fabrication equipment to meet exact specifications and aerospace quality standards.

You will ensure traceability, perform close-tolerance work, and maintain clean, safe work areas. The role requires shift-based schedules with overtime to meet production milestones.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years in aerospace, aviation or precision manufacturing preferred.
• Experience reading/interpreting engineering drawings.
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools.
• Able to read technical documentation and perform math related to tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate aerospace structural components and honeycomb/composite core materials per drawings and work orders.
• Interpret sketches and process sheets to meet tight tolerances (±.001–.005 inches).
• Document and certify process steps ensuring traceability.
• Perform layout, trimming, routing, chamfering, and cutting within tolerances.
• Operate saws, routers, expanders, and roll formers; maintain equipment.
