Job summary

Firefly Aerospace, Inc. invites applications for a Public Relations Manager on our marketing and communications team.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications, you will manage media relations, craft compelling messages about our launch, lunar and in-space programs, and raise awareness among aerospace and technology audiences. The ideal candidate has experience with a publicly traded company, excellent writing, and established media relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in communications, public relations, journalism, or equivalent.
• 5–10 years of public relations, media relations, or corporate communications experience.
• Experience with a publicly traded company preferred, especially in aerospace/defense.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading with AP style.
• Strong relationships with aerospace, defense, or technology media is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the development of press releases for program milestones, contracts, partnerships, and company updates.
• Handle media inquiries, coordinate responses with subject matter experts, and prepare spokespeople for interviews.
• Build relationships with top-tier aerospace, defense, technology and financial media.
