Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Seattle is hiring for PLM Functional Consultant / Business Analyst roles across junior to senior levels to support a large Teamcenter-based PLM modernization for an Aerospace & Defense OEM. You serve as the bridge between engineering and manufacturing users, capturing requirements, mapping scope, and validating builds within a blended onshore–offshore team.

The role involves leading workshops, mapping scope, and deep Teamcenter expertise to drive improvements in BOM,

Qualifications

Capture and document requirements from engineering and manufacturing stakeholders.
Map legacy PDM/process-planning scope onto Teamcenter capabilities.
Identify augmented-engineering/AI use cases and document changes.

Responsibilities

Capture and structure functional requirements from engineering and manufacturing stakeholders.
Map legacy PDM / process-planning scope onto Teamcenter capabilities.
Identify and document augmented-engineering / AI use cases.
Document as-is / to-be processes — change control, configuration, BOM and work-instruction flows.
Support configuration, test and validation of the Teamcenter solution against requirements.
Collaborate across onshore–offshore team; senior band runs workshops and leads scope mapping.
