Job summary

SIDRAM TECHNOLOGIES seeks an experienced Teamcenter Business Analyst to bridge business stakeholders with technical teams for PLM initiatives in Fremont, CA. The role requires gathering requirements across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain and translating them into functional specs and user stories.

You will lead workshops, define EBOM/MBOM, support data modeling, and coordinate testing and sign-offs while ensuring traceability and governance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

Strong BA experience with Teamcenter/PLM implementations.
Experience documenting BRDs, FDDs, process flows and functional specs.
Agile/Scrum experience with Azure DevOps/JIRA.

Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain processes.
Translate business needs into functional specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria for Teamcenter.
Lead workshops and stakeholder discussions with global teams.
Define and standardize EBOM/MBOM, Change Management and configuration processes.
Collaborate with architects to align solutions with PLM roadmap.
Prepare and maintain FDDs, process flows, use cases, and functional docs.
Define functional requirements for SAP, MES, CAD/NX integrations.
Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and Agile prioritization.
Support functional testing, UAT coordination, validation, and sign-offs.
Maintain end-to-end requirements traceability.
Identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Support data migration, mapping, validation, and business rules.
Define reporting, dashboards, and KPIs for engineering and operations.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Teamcenter Business Analyst to act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders, SMEs, and technical teams for PLM initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain processes.
Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria aligned with Teamcenter.
Lead workshops, requirements elicitation, and stakeholder discussions with global teams.
Define and standardize EBOM/MBOM, Change Management (ECR/ECO/ECN), Configuration, and Release processes.
Collaborate with architects to align solutions with business processes and PLM roadmap.
Prepare and maintain FDDs, process flows, use cases, and functional documentation.
Provide functional input for BMIDE data modeling, including attributes, classifications, and business rules.
Define functional requirements for SAP, MES, CAD/NX, and other system integrations.
Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and Agile prioritization.
Support functional testing, UAT coordination, validation, and sign-offs.
Maintain end-to-end requirements traceability.
Identify process gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Support data migration, mapping, validation, and business rules.
Define reporting, dashboards, and KPIs for engineering and operations.
Prepare training materials and user guides and support business adoption.
Coordinate with support teams for smooth transition to operations.
Support governance, compliance, scope definition, estimation, and solution planning.

Must-have Skills

Strong Business Analyst experience with Teamcenter / PLM implementations.
Deep understanding of engineering processes, BOM, product structures, and change management.
Experience creating User Stories, BRDs, FDDs, process flows, and functional documentation.
Agile/Scrum experience with Azure DevOps / JIRA.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical requirements.
Experience with SAP, MES, CAD/NX integrations is highly valuable.
Experience with BMIDE and PLM data modeling is preferred.
