Job summary

Barnes Group in Warren, MI is seeking an experienced plasma spray technician to plan, set up, and spray parts to meet production requirements. You will mask or grit blast surfaces and adjust spray flow and speed to meet specifications.

You will interpret work orders and blueprints, collaborate with Engineering to develop spray programs and parameters for new or modified products, and ensure use of proper fixtures, tooling, and inventory to sustain production goals.

Qualifications

• Experience with plasma spraying in an aerospace environment is preferred.
• Ability to read complex blueprints and technical documents.
• Proficiency in programming robotic spray systems.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail, multitasking, and good communication.
