Job summary

Rocket Lab’s Planning and Fulfillment Lead will be based onsite at our Long Beach headquarters and drive the end-to-end material flow to meet production demands. You will manage demand, supply, and fulfillment within the MRP system, while maintaining BOMs and master data to reflect ECOs and NPIs.

You should have 5+ years of planning experience, a bachelor’s degree, ERP/MRP proficiency, and the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience with ERP and MRP for material planning and management.
• Master data management, BOM management, and planning release/fulfillment processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office and data analysis for reporting.
• Experience working in the aerospace industry.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee demand, supply, and fulfillment planning within the MRP system.
• Maintain BOM, parts, and master data in the ERP system.
• Update demand to reflect ECOs and NPIs.
• Provide visibility into material positions via line-of-balance and shortage reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve company goals.
• Monitor on-time delivery; escalate delays to Strategic Sourcing and Quality teams.
• Manage obsolete and end-of-life products to minimize unusable inventory.
• Foster positive supplier relationships for smooth communication.
• Escalate cost or quality concerns to Strategic Sourcing and Quality teams.
• Align demand, supply, and fulfillment with production schedules.
• Communicate material status to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with procurement and material planning policies.
