Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting PCB assemblies in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications and engineering drawings.
• Eye exam with 20/20 vision is required.
• Ability to sit for long periods and walk throughout production areas.
• Familiarity with IPC Standards and AS9100 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual and manual inspections of incoming, in-process, and finished PCBs and components to detect defects.
• Use calipers, height gauges, micrometers, and VMMS to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Operate testing equipment and ensure calibration of measurement tools.
• Review blueprints and customer drawings to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Document results, defects, and yield data in logs or systems.
• Identify non-conforming material and segregate for disposition.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to identify root causes and improvements.
• Prepare standard reports such as First Article Inspection reports; ensure documentation is complete.
• Perform minor rework as needed (e.g., mask touch-up).
