Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Surface Technologies in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform inspections, checks and tests ensuring parts meet quality standards. You will read drawings and specifications and collaborate with quality and production teams on improvements.

The role offers first shift hours (6am-2:30pm) with overtime typically available. Salary ranges from $17 to $19 per hour, with benefits and growth opportunities as noted in the posting.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• Technical/Trade School preferred.
• 1-3 years’ experience of Quality Inspection.
• Must be able to read and understand drawings and blueprints, parts lists, inspection plans, and specification instructions.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of inspections, checks, testing and sampling procedures for product manufacturing processes using various measuring tools.
• Conducts manufacturing inspections and sampling and testing of incoming aerospace components and raw materials to ensure standards are met.
• Conducts final inspections on outgoing components.
• Prepares product verification documentation.
• Uses part-marking equipment on incoming aerospace components.
• Performs component dimensional inspections per customer requirements.
