Sky Limit Systems seeks an experienced PCB Designer to support the development of aerospace-grade electronic systems. You will design multi-layer PCBs, manage layouts, and collaborate with engineers from concept through prototype and production.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in PCB design, proficiency with Altium, Allegro, or OrCAD, and knowledge of signal integrity and IPC standards. This role offers challenging projects in a quality-driven, aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional PCB design/layout experience.
• Proficiency with Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, OrCAD, or comparable PCB design software.
• Experience designing complex, multi-layer boards with high-speed digital/analog circuitry.
• Understanding of signal integrity, EMI/EMC, ESD protection, and PCB manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with IPC standards IPC-2221/IPC-7351/IPC-A-600.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Experience with rigid-flex or HDI PCB designs is a plus.
• Aerospace, avionics or high-reliability electronics experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Design multi-layer PCBs with high-speed digital, analog, RF, and power circuitry.
• Develop PCB layouts using Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, OrCAD, or similar ECAD platforms.
• Implement signal integrity requirements: differential routing, impedance control, trace-length matching.
• Create and update schematics, libraries, and PCB design documentation.
• Generate manufacturing packages: Gerber, ODB++, BOMs, assembly drawings.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers to optimize designs.
• Participate in design reviews focused on manufacturability, performance, and reliability.
• Support prototype builds, troubleshooting, and design improvements.
• Ensure designs comply with IPC standards and aerospace quality requirements.
