Job summary

Safran Cabin is seeking an Assembly II- Specialty technician in the Los Angeles area. You will perform routine electronic assembly on aircraft parts in a manual line, soldering PCBs and sub-assemblies, and preparing wires with various tools and test equipment.

You will work in a team, support continuous improvement, and maintain a clean work area. Qualifications include strong communication, soldering skills, IPC-J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620 training, and at least 3 years in production.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in soldering small wires and components.
• Proficient with computers and basic hand tools.
• Experience with soldering/desoldering equipment required.
• IPC-J-STD-001, IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-620 knowledge or training.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and perform tolerance calculations.
• Knowledge of NAS/MAS aircraft hardware is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and repetitive electronic assembly operations for aircraft parts.
• Assemble and solder PCBs, small mechanical and sub-assemblies.
• Use basic to power tools and test equipment in production.
• Prepare wires, cut/strip/tin, attach contacts and lugs.
• Apply conformal coatings, sealants, and adhesives as required.
• Conduct simple acceptance tests and participate in continuous improvement.
