Job summary

CMI Group in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Order Management Specialist to oversee the day-to-day flow of customer orders from receipt to shipment. You will ensure accurate entry, tracking, and fulfillment while coordinating with Program Management, Planning, Operations, and Shipping to resolve issues and meet commitments.

The role requires 2–4 years in order management or related roles, with strong attention to detail and experience with ERP/order platforms.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in order management, customer service, supply chain administration, or a related operational support role.
• Strong attention to detail with a proven track record of accurate data entry and record maintenance.
• Solid understanding of order-processing workflows from order receipt through shipment.

Responsibilities

• Enter, acknowledge, and maintain customer orders with a high degree of accuracy.
• Monitor purchase orders and track delivery dates to ensure timely fulfillment.
• Research and resolve routine order-status questions and issues.
• Coordinate with Planning, Operations, and Shipping to support on time delivery.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate order information across all systems.
• Communicate order updates to internal teams as required.
• Escalate customer disputes, significant delivery problems, or risks to commitments to the Program Manager.
• Support continuous improvement of order-management processes.
