Ultra PCS in Manhattan, KS, seeks an Operations Manager to lead daily manufacturing, inventory, and FAA repair operations. You will apply lean principles, ensure AS9100/ISO9000, OSHA compliance, and drive continuous improvement across production planning and resources using ERP/MRP systems.

The role requires hands-on leadership, data-driven decision making, and collaboration with engineering and customers to meet stringent aerospace and defense standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in operations management or supervision.
• Experience leading teams of 15+ in hands-on roles.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100 and ISO9000 quality systems with traceability.
• Lean manufacturing and process improvement expertise.
• OSHA safety regulation experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily supply, manufacturing, and FAA repair operations, ensuring compliance with AS9100, ISO9000, FAA, and OSHA.
• Apply lean principles to reduce waste and optimize workflows.
• Maintain policies for quality, safety, and performance.
• Coordinate production planning, inventory, and resources via ERP/MRP.
• Monitor data to identify trends, resolve issues, and improve KPIs.
• Provide performance reports to the General Manager and assist budgets/forecasts.
• Collaborate with engineering to align manufacturing with design goals.
• Work with customer accounts to meet expectations and drive satisfaction.
• Build and lead a strong operations team with accountability and growth.
