Job summary

Victor Sierra Aviation is seeking an Operational Excellence Leader for a 24-month developmental assignment across two VSA operating companies. You will embed with teams, drive OPEX transformation, and build credibility to position for future leadership opportunities.

You will lead kaizen events, apply Lean/Six Sigma tools, and collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance to improve safety, quality, and delivery while reducing waste.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.
• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or operations, ideally in aerospace or a regulated environment.
• Demonstrated problem-solving with measurable improvements in manufacturing or operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate OPEX initiatives, including kaizen events and projects to reduce waste and improve efficiency across production lines.
• Drive measurable improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma tools (3P, VSM, 5S, A3, SMED, Standard Work, Kanban, RCA, Visual Management).
• Coach and mentor employees, build OPEX capabilities, and drive culture transformation.
