Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Nondestructive Testing technician specialized in Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection to support spaceflight hardware. The role emphasizes maintaining inspection techniques, documenting results, and communicating with engineers and managers.

Candidates should have NAS-410 Level II qualifications and be able to pass required tests within weeks of hire. The position requires ability to read blueprints, lift parts, and work overtime as needed to meet critical deadlines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Level 2 experience in Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection
• Must pass Penetrant General Test and Specific Test by week 3
• NAS-410 qualifications for Penetrant Testing with 400+ hours
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Experience with MS Office products required

Responsibilities

• Perform Fluorescent Penetrant Testing on critical flight hardware
• Maintain techniques and inspect per drawings and shop orders
• Document inspection results and maintain process control checks
• Interface with engineers/managers to report results
• Willingness to work overtime and meet deadlines
