Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products in Albany, OR seeks an NDT Level III or Responsible Level III for aerospace duties. You will oversee NDT/X-ray qualification programs, train staff, and ensure compliance with NAS410 and customer specs.

Relocation assistance is offered; candidates with NAS410/ASNT Level 3 credentials and substantial NDT experience will guide inspection activities and QA processes at CPP’s Albany facility.

Qualifications

• NAS410 Level III certification in RT or PT required; ASNT Level 3 preferred
• Dual RT & PT Level 3 certification within 12 months of hire
• Minimum 4 years of experience in NDT as a Level 2
• 2 years of experience with a 2-year STEM degree
• 1 year of experience with a 4-year STEM degree

Responsibilities

• Administers and maintains NDT/X-Ray qualification program for Level I, II and III NDT personnel.
• Maintain qualification records, certifications and proficiency examinations and oversight of required experience hours.
• Capable of providing or directing training, examination and certification of personnel.
• Performs non-destructive inspections on all components per NAS410, customer specs, blueprints and procedures, including NDT for aerospace and welds.
• Attends production meetings to keep updated on progress and collaborates with QA/production to resolve problems.
• Oversee the work of NDT inspectors and ensure QA and safety procedures are met.
• Schedule NDT inspections with QA Manager; generate NDT/QA reports.
• Maintain equipment and calibration for tests; ensure facility readiness.
• Adminsiter/perform eye exams as needed and audit outside agencies for written practices.
• Acquire additional certifications and credentials as required; maintain organized area.
• Comply with safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies; overtime as needed.

Education

NAS 410 Level III certification in RT or PT

ASNT Level 3 certification in RT or PT

Dual RT & PT Level 3 certification within 12 months

Minimum 4 years NDT as Level 2

2 years NDT Level 2 with 2-year Degree in Science/Engineering

1 year NDT Level 2 with 4-year Degree in Science/Engineering
