Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) is seeking an NDT Level III for titanium casting and component manufacturing in Albany, OR. You will oversee the NDT/X-ray qualification program, evaluate casting quality, and guide NDT personnel to meet customer specifications.

The role involves training, certifying staff, reviewing test results, and coordinating with QA and production to resolve issues. NAS410 familiarity is preferred; travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 4 years of NDT experience as a Level 2.
• Alternative: 2 years NDT Level 2 with 2-year Science/Engineering degree.
• Alternative: 1 year NDT Level 2 with 4-year Science/Engineering degree.
• NAS 410 Level III certification in RT or PT preferred.

Responsabilités

• Administers and maintains NDT/X-Ray qualification program for Level I, II and III NDT personnel.
• Maintain qualification records, certifications and proficiency examinations and oversight of required experience hours.
• Capable of providing or directing training, examination and certification of personnel.
• Performs non-destructive inspections on all components as required by NAS410, customer specifications, blueprints and work procedure requirements.
• Attends production meetings to stay updated on job progress and works with quality and production to resolve problems.
• Oversee the work of NDT inspectors and ensures QA and safety procedures are met.
• Work with QA Manager to ensure NDT inspections are scheduled and assigned appropriately.
• Records, organises and evaluates test results and generates NDT and QA reports.
• Maintains equipment and assures calibration for tests to be performed.
• Capable of assuming technical responsibility for the NDT facility and staff, selecting methods and preparing procedures for technical adequacy.
• Auditing outside agencies to ensure written practices are met.
• Acquire additional certifications and credentials as required for work or career development.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Comply with safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Formation

High school diploma or equivalent

NDT Level II experience

NAS 410 Level III certification (preferred)
