Airbus US Manufacturing Facility in Mobile, AL seeks an NDT Level II Inspector (2nd Shift) to perform extensive non-destructive testing across A220 and A320 programs. You will interpret results, review drawings and help develop inspection techniques for complex geometries.

Qualifications

• Associates' Degree in Aviation, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years testing experience (parts/materials) in an aerospace setting.
• NAS410/EN4179 Level II in ET, PT or UT; additional NAS410/EN4179 certifications preferred.
• Experience with ET, PT, UT and aerospace NDT testing standards.
• Hands-on use of portable NDT equipment and inspection tooling.
• Knowledge of AWS/ASME and ASTM standards; basic computer skills including MS Office.
• Preferred: manufacturing experience in aviation environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of NDT inspections (ET, UT, PT) on A220/A320 programs.
• Interpret, evaluate and report findings to production and engineering teams.
• Review engineering drawings and assist in developing inspection techniques.
• Help train teammates and contribute to LEAN initiatives.
• Prepare inspection reports, mappings and related documentation.
