Job summary

Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility in Mobile, AL is seeking an NDT Level 2 Inspector (2nd Shift) to join the manufacturing department.

You will perform a wide range of NDT inspections (ET/UT/PT) on A220 and A320 programs, interpret and report findings, and help drive continuous improvement in a high‑stakes aerospace environment. The role requires NAS410/EN4179 Level II certification and at least 3 years of NDT testing experience, plus the ability to work with inspection equipment and MS Office

Qualifications

• Associates' Degree in Aviation, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years' experience in setting up and conducting tests on parts and materials.
• NAS410/EN4179 Level II certification in ET/PT/UT.
• Experience in aerospace NDT testing.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform a large diversity of NDT inspections (ET, UT and PT) across A220 and A320 programs.
• Interpret, evaluate, communicate, and report findings to production and engineering teams.
• Interpret and review engineering drawings as required.
• Perform and/or support the development of NDT inspection techniques for complex geometries and confined spaces.
• Assist in training and developing others within the team.
• Prepare inspection reports, mappings and documents related to the inspection record.
• Contribute to internal Quality Gates through on-time point closure.
• Report/advance team blocking points throughout the shift.
• Actively contribute KPI data to drive improvements.
