Job summary

Hytek Finishes Co. is seeking an Aerospace NDT Inspector Trainee on 2nd shift in Kent, WA. You will become certified in Magnetic Particle, Liquid Penetrant, and Nital Etch per NAS410 under supervision and training programs.

Position requires NAS410 Level II certification in MP/FP, on-site work, and participation in FAA Drug & Alcohol Testing. Benefits include health, 401(k), and life insurance. Training hours and OJT provided.

Qualifications

• Must have NAS410 Level II certification in Fluorescent Magnetic Particle and Fluorescent Liquid Penetrant.
• OJT hours documented; NDT training program participation.
• FAA DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing Program participation required.

Responsibilities

• Assist NDT Level III to complete tasks and prioritize work.
• Follow inspection techniques and customer orders; ensure Operator Self Verification is complete.
• Review paperwork and verify previous operations with QA; notify supervisor if issues.
• Prepare parts for operations; use proper tooling and fixtures.
• Understand QA requirements and rework procedures; follow drawings and notations.
• Contribute to process improvements and cross-train where needed.
